What this site collects, and what happens to it.
esadoe.com is a single page with one form on it. This notice describes exactly what that page collects, which companies touch it on the way to us, and how to reach us about any of it. It is written to match how the site actually works; if the site changes, this notice will too.
What we collect
The only information this site collects is what you type into the Place your loan form:
- Your name, email address and phone number, so we can get back to you.
- The loan: the type of property, the approximate loan amount, where the property is, and any notes you add.
You can leave the notes field empty. Please do not put Social Security numbers, account numbers, dates of birth or other sensitive identifiers in the form; none of that is needed to start a conversation, and if a lender later needs it we will arrange a secure way to send it.
When the form is submitted, the service that delivers it to us also records the date and time, your IP address and your browser type, as any web form does.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry, usually the same day.
- To work out which of the lenders we broker for might fit the loan, and to discuss it with you.
- To keep a record of the enquiry for our own business files.
We do not use the form to build marketing lists, and we do not send newsletters or promotional email to people who enquire.
Who else sees it
- Formspree, Inc. (United States) receives the form submission and emails it to us. Formspree stores a copy in our account on its service. Formspree's own privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Lenders, but only when you ask us to place the loan. At that point we share the details of the loan and the borrower with the lender or lenders that fit it, which is the service you are asking us to provide. We do not pass enquiries to lenders before that.
- Vercel, Inc. hosts the site. Like any host, its servers log requests, which include your IP address, for a limited period for security and operations.
- Adobe Fonts supplies the typefaces on the page. Your browser fetches the font files from Adobe's servers, so Adobe sees your IP address and browser information when the page loads. Adobe's privacy policy is at adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts. The home page also loads one typeface from Google Fonts, with the same effect; Google's statement on it is at developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising pixels or social-media trackers. The only scripts on it set the year in the footer and send the form.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we are working on the loan and afterwards as part of our business records. If you enquire and nothing comes of it, you can ask us to delete the enquiry and we will, unless a law or a regulator requires us to keep it.
Your choices
Email tumi@esadoe.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will confirm who you are before acting on a request about someone's information, and we will reply within 30 days.
Residents of states with privacy laws that grant specific rights (for example California) can exercise those rights the same way. We do not discriminate against anyone for making a request.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and the form is sent over HTTPS. No submissions are stored on the site itself. Email, however, is not an encrypted channel end to end, which is why we ask you not to put sensitive identifiers in the form.
Children
This site offers business-purpose financing and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
If we change what the site collects or who processes it, we will update this notice and the effective date at the top.
